There is so much confusion on this matter, especially when the general population gets transsexuals confused with shemale-porn, transvestites, cross-dressers and drag-queens . Sometimes the confusion comes from some drag-queens (who are just homo-sexual men ) which by the way is a sexuality . They desire to get breast implants and then call themselves Transsexuals . Being trans is not a mental illness, it is not a choice, it is not against God, it is not a sin . People that are trans will not burn in Hell. Trans people are not perverts.
Just because you put implants in your chest does not mean that your a transsexual . People like that make life much harder for the actual transsexual people . We must learn to educate ourselves if we want to live in a better world .
The name of this Brain Researcher is Dick Swaab and you can find more of his research here - http://weblogs.nrc.nl/swaab/2009/04/03/the-atypical-brain-development-of-transsexuals/
and also here - http://discovermagazine.com/1996/jan/transsexualbrain681
There are people who are trying to get these surgeries or take hormones who should not be doing that . We have transvestites, cross-dressers and drag-queens who think their transsexual when their not and make a huge mistake of beginning hormones with out getting a diagnosis from a therapist first . They should never do anything like that until they are properly diagnosed with gender identity condition first . The doctor needs to make sure this is real and not just a fantasy or fetish . Gender Identity condition is real , it is not a mental illness , it will never go away but it is treatable through hormones and transition . Everyone has a gender identity. It's located in your brain and it's what determines your true gender and its suppose to match your sexual organs . For transsexuals, their gender identity does not match whats between their legs . If someones gender identity is truly female , they are not going to want a male body because that is incredibly devastating to them in ways that are incomprehensible to other people . Sometimes trans people that are unable to get help for their condition end up committing suicide.
Sexual orientation is completely separate from Gender Identity . Gender Identity is located in brain and determines what a persons gender actually is .Sexuality is totally separate from that and it determines what gender your sexually attracted to . Just like any other human a trans person could end up being straight, gay, bi, lesbian or pan.
There is one more thing I would like to clear up because I hear so many ignorant comments about it . Parents who are afraid that a male to female transsexual might have intercourse with their daughters in a locker room at school or other ignorant comments . Although this is really none of your business, I would still like to clear this up . A real Male to Female transsexual who's taking female hormones and testosterone blockers can not achieve an erection and the size of the penis gets very, very small and it will not function sexually . It is a medical fact that with out the proper amount of testosterone ,a person can not get an erection . If a so called transsexual can get an erection and actually has a desire to use their penis sexually, then they are not a transsexual . THERE ARE BIG DIFFERENCES HERE THAT NEED TO BE ADDRESSED.
There are loads of drag-queens who get breast implants but of course do not take hormones and then label their selves as transsexual in the porn business . They use the name and image of a transsexual people to make money . Then all that does is confuse people about what the truth is . THIS NEEDS TO BE UNDERSTOOD . Some drag-queens will take hormones for about 6 months to get enough breast tissue to be able to get implants . Then after the implants they stop taking hormones and then go into the porn business and use the identity of transsexuals to make loads of money . Totally destroying the image of transsexual people . Using the condition of trans people to their own advantage .

2015 UC Davis CMB Mindfulness Research Summit - Introduction
Part 1 of 12 from the May 21, 2015 UC Davis Center for Mind and Brain day-long meeting "Perspectives on Mindfulness: The Complex Role of Scientific Research" - Remarks (and performance) by CMB Director Steve Luck, PhD, Conference Chair, Clifford Saron, PhD, and Cellist Barbara Bogatin. See http://cmbmindfulnesssummit.faculty.ucdavis.edu for full conference program and http://mindbrain.ucdavis.edu for links to other conference talks and other information about the Center for Mind and Brain at UC Davis.
Steven J. Luck, PhD is the Director of the Center for Mind & Brain and a Professor of Psychology at the University of California, Davis. Dr. Luck’s research focuses on the intersection of vision and higher cognitive processing. His laboratory has developed methods that are now widely used to assess the capacity and precision of visual working memory, leading to an explosion of research on the structure of internal mental representations and how they vary across individuals and groups. Dr. Luck also studies neurocognitive processing in schizophrenia, where he has found many aspects of impaired cognition can be explained by changes in network dynamics that lead to an aberrant hyperfocusing of attention. Dr. Luck is also a leading expert on the use of event-related brain potentials (ERPs) to measure the neural activity underlying cognition. He is a fellow of the American Psychological Association, the Society of Experimental Psychologists, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and he is the winner of many prestigious awards, including the Troland Award from the National Academy of Sciences.
Clifford Saron, PhD, Research Scientist (effective 7/15) at the Center for Mind and Brain and MIND Institute at the University of California at Davis, received his Ph.D. in neuroscience from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1999. Dr. Saron is Principal Investigator of the Shamatha Project, a longitudinal investigation of the effects of intensive meditation on physiological and psychological processes central to well-being, attention, emotion regulation and health. It was conceived with and taught by Alan Wallace, with the talents of a large consortium of researchers at UC Davis and elsewhere. In 2012, Dr. Saron and his colleagues were awarded the inaugural Templeton Prize Research Grant in honor of H.H. the Dalai Lama from the John Templeton Foundation to continue this work. Dr. Saron also studies sensory processing and integration in children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), and is part of a large collaborative study examining if mindfulness-based interventions can ease the chronic stress of mothers of children with ASD.
Barbara Bogatin, cellist, has been a member of the San Francisco Symphony since 1994, and holds Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from The Juilliard School. Before joining the San Francisco Symphony she played with New York Chamber Soloists, the New York Philharmonic, Casals Festival, and as principal cellist with Milwaukee and New Jersey Symphony Orchestras. She has performed and recorded on Baroque cello and viola da gamba with Aston Magna, the Amati Trio, Connecticut Early Music Festival and New York’s Classical Band, and played at music festivals including Chamber Music Northwest and Lake Tahoe Summerfest. With her husband, Clifford Saron, she has led workshops on meditation and music practice at Spirit Rock Meditation Center, the Esalen Institute, Stanford Symposium for Music and the Brain, Telluride Compassion Festival and the Institute for Mindfulness South Africa Conference.

Split brain behavioral experiments
To reduce the severity of his seizures, Joe had the bridge between his left and right cerebral hemisphers (the corpus callosum) severed. As a result, his left and right brains no longer communicate through that pathway. Here's what happens as a result:

Real Evidence(Transsexual-Transgender Brain Research)
Real Evidence(Transsexual-Transgender Brain Research)
(This video shows the brains of Male to Female Transsexuals)
Being trans is not a mental illness, it is not a choice, it is not against God, it is not a sin . People that are trans will not burn in Hell. Trans people are not perverts.
